(Prior Lake, MN - August 1, 2009) Pam Zachman, 44, of Golden Valley, picked up her 2nd win since returning to the sport of Triathlon in 2004 after a 15-year layoff, at the Lakefront Days Triathlon in Prior Lake on August 1. Pam's male partner in the Winners Circle was local triathlete Andy Schiesl. According to MTN's records, this is Schiesl's first career multisport win.Angie Hong of Savage, and Eden Prairie's Katie Thompson filled out the women's podium. Chip Tabor of St. Louis Park, placed 2nd in the men's race for the second consecutive season, and 2008's 4th place finisher Jonathan Falkowski of Lakeville, moved up to 3rd this year.
Three hundred athletes registered for today's race and 269 finished.
