Since 1995, six Minnesota multisport athletes have received special national recognition. Two--Tony Schiller and Kristin Miller--have been honored on more than one occasion. (Tony is arguably the most decorated amateur multisport athlete that America has ever produced.) Cathy Yndestad and Brian Bich, award recipients in 2009 and 2008 respectively, have, like Schiller and Kris Miller, received multiple nominations for national honors.
