OVEREATING & WORKING ON HIS GUNS...

Which member of Team Minnesota recently confessed that Robbins Pathologic Basis for Disease is one of his all-time favorite books?

Here's two hints: A - He lists "Joe the Plumber" among his heroes. B. As a senior at St. Olaf he was voted "Most Likely To Vote Republican."

And he was probably also voted "Most Likely to Succeed."

The intelligence, focus and ambition that has helped Sam Hauck become one of America's best amateur triathletes, and will likely push him into the pro ranks in the not-too-distant future, will also make him a World Class physician.

Presently, he's a second-year med student at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. If you know Sam, you can rest assured that his bedside manner will be much less caustic than that of his favorite TV doctor, "House."

Here's some other stuff you may not know about about Sam. His answers to our questionnaire are uniformly interesting, though some of them are, well, somewhat disturbing.

You're not really into Miley Cyrus, are you, Sam? And you may be the only person in America who unashamedly admits to liking "anything Trance."
