TOLTEC WISDOM, MIKE WEIR, JASON BOURNE & MORE COWBELL!!

Cathy Ennis-Yndestad is a very curious girl. She's always been curious. Her range of interests is large and ever-expanding. She loves to learn. She's VERY bright. And she loves to try new things. More often than not, she becomes much more than simply proficient at what she tries.

Raised on the cloudy and wind-swept eastern coast of Newfoundland's Avalon Peninsula, curious teen Cathy migrated from St. John's to Ames, IA, where she was recruited to play golf for Iowa State University. At ISU she demonstrated LPGA potential and was a four-time Academic All American.

Today, Cathy works hard and, not surprisingly, is climbing her company's corporate ladder more quickly than her colleagues of similar experience. We know what she's accomplished as a triathlete. Heck, she may be the best female amateur in America.

At home, she reads, her tastes ranging from ancient Toltec wisdom to Vince Flynn's political thrillers. She enjoys movies that are fast-paced and intricate, demanding focused attention.

She loves travel, warm weather, a great variety of food and activities. And people.

Especially people.

Heroes? The Navy Seals

Dream Vacation Destination? Any place with temps above 85 that includes beaches, ocean and open roads. Yes, Hawaii works very well.

Winter Training?

How do you train in the off-season? This year will be a little different than years past. I will find out in Feb if I’m doing the Leadville 100mtn bike race next year. If so, I will be spending a lot of time on my bike this winter, and doing a lot of strength training. If not, I plan to just do random fun workouts, such as XC skiing, Cross fit, and plenty of Tennis. I had my first Tennis lesson on

Monday, December 22.
