Minneman is one of only two races--the other is Turtleman--that has won the prestigious "Race of the Year" award on three occasions (2006, 2007, 2008). If you've done this race, you know it's totally Cool. If you haven't, then you've missed out on a truly transplendent experience. According to Minneman's website, only 50 slots remain for this year's race, which will once again be staged at beautiful Lake George Regional Park (photo) in Oak Grove. The date is July 3.
